The Bayelsa state governor, Seriake Dickson has announced the movement of some commissioners from one ministry to the other.

The state described the cabinet shuffle as a minor cabinet reshuffle in his administration,

The cabinet reshuffle which sees the former Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Daniel Markson-Iworiso being sworn in as the commissioner for information, saw the education commissioner moved to mineral resources.

Speaking on his motive for the cabinet reshuffle, the governor said much is expected from the new commissioners.

While fielding questions from newsmen, the new commissioner for information promise to project the policies of the state government to the grass root.

Present at the ceremony were the deputy governor, serving commissioners and members of the state executive council.
