Akeredolu dissociates self from LG case
Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has dissociated himself from the ongoing litigation at the Appeal Court in Akure over the sack of local government executives.
It was discovered that an appeal was filed in respect of an Akure High Court judgment restricting the new administration from dissolving the present local government executives before their tenure expire.
Buttressing the stance of the governor, a member of the legal team of Rotimi Akeredolu, Charles Titiloye said it was a surprise to every member of the governor`s legal team and that they are currently studying the case.
Charles Titiloye vehemently said the whole scenario was a ploy by the former administration of Dr Olusegun Mimiko to arm-twist the new administration on the issue of local government executives.
