2015 Elections: Jonathan Urges Nigerians To Pray
President Goodluck Jonathan has once again called on Nigerians to pray for the country as the country draws closer to 2015 general elections.
The president made the appeal at a thanksgiving church service to mark the 50th birthday of Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State at the Aper Aku stadium on Sunday in Makurdi
Represented by the Chief of staff, Gen.Jones Arogbofa,President Goodluck Jonathan stressed the need for prayers and appreciate all those who came to celebrate with the governor.
In his remark, Senate President, Sen. David Mark, reminded the people that power comes from God and admonished leaders to use it to serve humanity
Responding, the celebrant, Governor Gabriel Suswam begged all he had wrong in the the course of running the government to forgive him, saying forgiveness makes a sane society
Dignitaries at the thanksgiving service include Governor of Delta State, traditional rulers from all the senatorial district of the state, religious leaders, members of State and Federal House of Representatives, former and serving Ministers among other top dignitaries.
