Youth Advised To Play Active Roles In National Development

The Initiator of the initiator of the Geneith Health Competition for Secondary School in Nigeria, Cletus Ilobanafor, has enjoined Nigerian Youth to play active roles in national development, urging them to shun all acts that could perpetrate socio-economic crisis in the country.

The Initiator of the initiator of the Geneith Health Competition for Secondary School in Nigeria, Cletus Ilobanafor, on his conferment of national honours by the National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS, and the Youth Coalition for Education in Nigeria, said that the greatest asset of Nigeria lies in its youthful population. He said that expanding opportunities for service and innovation is critical to the nation’s progress.

He encouraged Nigerian Students to see themselves as Ambassadors for positive change and a strong pillar of national development, whose roles remain pivotal to Socioeconomic Growth.

The YOCEN delegation said the selection for the honorary award followed a rigorous review of awardee professional track record, citing commitment to ethical journalism, courage in storytelling, and sustained efforts to give voice to underserved communities.

Ilobanafor also advocated for youth active participation in health advocacy, especially, in the fight against Malaria and other related diseases.

The Organizers explained that the honor reflected sustained passion for humanity, advocacy for young people, and consistent promotion of responsible journalism and positive societal values; principles, they said, align with the core ideals of both organizations.
