Wike Submits To Reconciliation With Fubara
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has finally submitted to reconciliation with Governor Siminalayi Fubara over the political wranglings in Rivers State.
The reconciliation was facilitated by the intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The mediation and reconciliation brokered by President Tinubu has sealed the impeachment proceedings by the Rivers State House of Assembly against Governor Fubara and the deputy governor.
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, on inspection of ongoing road projects in the FCT, acknowledged the positive impact of the resolution on the residents of the State.
According to him, "the successful mediation underscored President Tinubu's role in fostering unity and addressing internal political friction".
Governor Fubara also eulogized Wike for submitting to the peace deal facilitated by the President.
Fubara, on an inspection tour of project sites, praised Wike for initiating the Rivers State Waterways Bridge Project.
The governor acknowledged that the FCT Minister initiated project, saying the project means well to him and the people of Rivers State.
