Rotimi Amaechi, Son, Dalung Electrify Protest At NASS

Former Minster of Transport in the administration of late President Muhammadu Buhari, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi, leading his son, in conjunction with the former Minister of Sports, Solomon Dalung, to join the mass action at the National Assembly on Tuesday, electrified the protest of the tendency to subvert rational amendment of the Electoral Act by the Senate.

Amaechi at the protest rally, articulated that he has said it overtime that politicians to join mass protests with their children. He presented his first son, whom he said is medical doctor, that came to join the protest with other Nigerians.
According to Amaechi, "I have said it before that whenever there is protest, all of us should come out.

"My first son, I brought him to join the protest. He is a medical doctor.

"There will be more Nigerians out here now."

There was massive deployment of security operatives at the National Assembly complex and its environs to maintain law and order.

On Monday, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi, participated in the protest at the National Assembly. He was joined by Aisha Yesufu, a renowned activist; as well as Yunusa Tanko, Interim National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement worldwide.

Meanwhile, Rotimi Amaechi, Solomon Dalung have declared support for occupy Nass Protest. They blasted National Assembly for taking unpatriotic path on the Electoral Act amendment.
