Police Warn Motorists Against Over Speeding, Reckless Driving
Nigeria police has warned motorists against over speeding on the highways especially the newly renovated 3rd mainland bridge.
Through press statement signed by the force public relation office, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi and made available to Galaxy news by FCID annex Alagbon condemned the lone accident that took place on the 3rd mainland bridge yesterday during Eid el fitri celebration and other similar road accidents that happened across the counry in recent times.
It was stated that most road accidents are caused by either overspeeding or reckless driving and these avoidable human errors have killed numerous promising souls and inflicted irreparable losses on many families.
The Nigeria police said every necessary steps shall be taken to curb crashes on the highways and henceforth, it shall be mandatory for every motorists to observe traffic rules and regulations which is crucial to safety of lives and properties.
