Police Restricts Vehicular Movement, Withdraws Orderlies On Election Day

Ahead of  the September 21st governorship election in Edo State, the Inspector General of Police has restricted vehicular movement between the hours of 6am - 6pm on election day.

 

Addressing journalists at the Police Command Headquarters in Benin, Force PRO, Muyiwa Adejobi said the restriction covers both land and sea; stating its strict compliance and enforcement. 

 

He said the IGP had ordered the demobilization and deactivation of orderlies protecting  personnel’s on election day.

 

 

The Force PRO also said special attention will be giving to person with disabilities and special needs.
