Police Parade 50 Suspected Criminals
The Nigeria police have arrested and paraded fifty persons suspected to be kidnappers, robbers, armed smugglers and drug dealers from different parts of northern Nigeria.
Parading the suspects in Abuja, Tuesday, the Force public relation officer, commissioner, Frank Mba, said the suspects were apprehended with tip-off from responsible Nigerians.
Commissioner Mba lamented the series of criminalities going on in the country promising that, the force will expedite action to arrest more criminals.
Mba expressed the commitment of the police to provide adequate security for lives and property for Nigerians and foreigners in the country.
The force PRO revealed a four-man gang syndicate led by one Marcus Danladi who was arrested with several numbers of AK-47 ammunition.
Danladi who attested to the crime said he has sold many of his items to bandits and kidnappers in the country who had unleashed mayhem against unsuspecting Nigerians.
Also, a member of a robbery syndicate, Anthony Baye, an ex-convict who served in both the Kaduna and Kano state correctional facilities after he was granted a pardon by the state governor of one of the states where he served, explained that he went right back into crime after trying to start up a legitimate business to no avail.
Commissioner Mba also revealed a syndicate of a woman named, Zainab Aminu who was arrested for transporting Illicit drugs to Katsina

The force however vowed to beam its searchlight on the middlemen and spies who aid armed smuggling with a view to cutting the armed supply chain in other to bring illicit traders to book.
Items recovered from the suspects include one AK-47 rifle, seven local made pistol, two thousand, four hundred and ninety-six rounds of AK-47 ammunition, cutlass, housebreaking in tools, five thousand carton of tramadol, four bags of weed, among other.
