Police Parade 34 Suspects For Various Crimes

The Nigeria police force has arrested and paraded thirty-four persons suspected to be robbers, armed smugglers, kidnappers, and others for unlawful possession of weapons from different parts of the country. 

Police public relation officer, deputy commissioner of police, Frank Mba said the suspects were apprehended with a tip-off from responsible Nigerians 

Commissioner Mba lamented series of criminalities going on in the country promising that, the force will expedite action to arrest more criminals. 

Mba revealed that a car theft syndicate, led by one Onoride Benjamin, an escapee of the Oko correctional facility in Edo state who was on death row, was also arrested.

He revealed that Benjamin snatched a vehicle barely thirty minutes after breaking out of the correctional service centre.

Also, Talatu Ibrahim who was also paraded confessed to the selling police camouflage and illegal supply of weapons to bandits. 

The suspects attested to the allegations against them.

Items recovered from the suspects include eight AK47, eight vehicles, four assorted weapons, one Mercedes truck
