Kano Police Command has invited the state leadership of the People's Democratic Party to respond to the allegations that its members attacked the Minister of Communication Isa Pantami, at Aminu Kano International Airport last Wednesday.

The Kano state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP ABDULLAHI HARUNA said the preliminary action of the police is to invite the Leadership of Party in the state to get their side of the story before taking the next step. 

The Police said no individual or group would be allowed to truncate the peaceful coexistence of the state or the country in general for any reason whatsoever. The PDP stalwarts who refused to speak with the media at the police command later issued a press release saying that those who attacked the Minister of communication were not there members the Police said the investigation into the matter continues.
