The executive council of Osun state has approved new policies for education in the state.

The policy formulation was made known during a press briefing with pressmen in Osogbo immediately after the state executive council meeting on Monday. 

The commissioner for information and civic orientation Olufunke Egbemode said the state executive council has reverted some policies after due consultation with the masses. 

She said the new policies will take effect from the next academic session. 

The Commissioner for Education, Folorunsho Bamisaye said the decisions were taken after careful and just consideration with all stakeholders across the state.
