Orbih challenges govt. to account for missing items in IDP camp

Edo state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Dan Osi Orbih has called on the state government to account for the missing rice meant for the internally displaced persons in Uhuogua camp.


Orbih who accused the state government of admitting to diverting the food materials made the statement on the occasion of his invitation by the state police command to give account on a petition levied against him by the state government.

 
Speaking shortly after regaining freedom, Chief Orbih said the state government allegedly admitted to have diverted the rice meant for displaced persons to other orphanage homes.
 
Orbih who also accused the state government of siphoning the state security votes called on Edo indigent to ask the government to give account.
 
However, attempt to reach the state commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo for comments, was futile.
