Hoodlums on Monday night set ablaze the house of Seriki Fulani in Eggua, Ogun State, Alhaji Adamu Oloru, killing one person and scores of cows.

The Seriki's Son, Suleiman Adamu said this in an interview with Galaxy TV News on Tuesday. 

He said one Alhaji Jiji was burnt to death, while his father's settlement was razed down in the attack where more than 40 cows were killed.

Confirming the development, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Abimbola Oyeyemi said the Commissioner of Police, Edward Ajogun had visited the place and sued for peace.

He noted that the command has put in place adequate security arrangement towards forestalling any breakdown of law and order.

Correspondent John Felix reports that Igboho alongside his supporters had stormed Abeokuta, the state capital, in continuation of his campaign against the marauding herdsmen in the Southwest.
