NRC distributes educational materials to IDPs in Adamawa

The National Refugees Commission says President Mohammadu Buhari's administration is working tirelessly in making displaced communities in Nigeria safe for their return.


This remark was made by the Federal Commissioner, National Refugees Commission during the distribution of educational and empowerment materials to the internally displaced persons in Adamawa state.

He assures that in no distant time the displaced persons will become self-reliant and ultimately become agents of solutions to their problems. 

He applauds President Mohammadu Buhari for his determination in addressing the plight of IDPs and the commitment to bringing the insurgency to an end in the country.

The team also visited victims of the farmers/herders' crises in Numan local government area for the distributions of organic fertilizer and commissioning of a rice milling machine.

The Head of Service of the local government appreciates the federal government for the gesture while a beneficiary laments the challenges they go through as IDPs.

The team was also at the Government House in Yola where the Governor assures of their cooperation and assistance.

High point of the event is the symbolic distribution of the items to parents at the Malkohi IDPs Camp.
