NOA,Stakeholders seek end to child trafficking
The national orientation agency of Nigeria has stressed the need for adequate protection of Nigeria child and end to child trafficking.
The director of the agency in Oyo state, Dolapo Dosumu and Rebecca Aadesola while speaking at a sensitization programme for parents and students on the rights of Nigerian child in Ibadan decried the increasing rate of child abuse and molestation in the country calling for urgent steps.
Other speakers at the gathering charged parents to protect the right of their children to sound education as well as protect them from child trafficking and child labour.
On his part, the commissioner of police in the state, Shina Olukolu who was represented at the event by James Ekpo assured that police would continue to ensure and protect the rights of children calling other stakeholders to follow suit.
