The Nigeria labour Congress has condemned the arrest and arraignment of some workers of Lagos state house of assembly.

It will be recall that three Lagos assembly workers namely Ibrahim Olanrewaju, Adetu Adekunle, and Fatimoh Adetola, were alleged to have conspired to assault officers of the State Security Service while they were performing their official duties and arraigned at the federal high court in Ikoyi.

Speaking with newsmen, the Lagos state chairman of NLC, comrade funmi sessi said it quite unfortunate and the Congress is critically monitoring the situation and will not hold back to take action.

She condemned the inhuman treatment workers at the assembly are being subjected to. She said the workers need some sort of respect and there should be a clear source where they receive directive to avert undue conflict which was at play last time.
