Nigerian Army Commences Three Day Project Workshop For Officers
The Nigerian Army has commence a three day project management workshop training for its officers at the Nigeria Army School of Military Engineering in Makurdi. The BENUE state capital with the theme: "Promoting Innovation and Adaptability in Project Management in the Nigerian Army".
The workshop which is organized by the Nigerian Army Special Projects is an annual event in line with the chief of Army Staff directive in training young officers to sharpen their skills in project supervision and bringing in innovation for the successful completion of projects.
The Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Taofeek Lagbaja who was represented by Major General Hilary Nzan, who flagged off the workshop enjoin the officers to acquire relevant skill that would enable them effectively manage projects
According to the Coordinator of Nigerian Army Special Projects, Major General Shamsudeem Shafaru, the workshop will feature paper presentation from both senior officers and retired officers to young officers on modern skills in line with global practice.
Highlights of todays was the presentation of gifts to the representative of the chief of Army staff and other senior officers.
