The Managing Director/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Dr Samuel Ogbuku, receives the chieftaincy title of Pere Se-Bobo of Ogu Kingdom. The traditional title was conferred on the NDDC MD at the palace of the Amanyanabo of Ogu Kingdom.

Ogbuku’s coronation as the “PERE SE-BOBO” of Ogu Kingdom was endorsed by the Ogu Divisional Council of Chiefs after participating in the mandatory Omuaru, Boat Regatta, ceremony in line with the custom and tradition of Ogu Kingdom.

Ogbuku’s coronation is a testament to the numerous developmental strides the NDDC, under his leadership, has achieved in the Niger Delta region.
