It was a sad day for the residence of Umuokpu in Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra state when an inexplicable inferno razed down a family building in the community.

The incidence which came as a shock to many in the community especially as it happened in the thick of the rainy season has been described as touching and regrettable.

Speaking to Galaxy News, victims of incidence said they were surprised when they suddenly got a call that their house was on fire.

Speaking further, the victims called on the Government and well-meaning Nigerians to come to their aid as all they had was lost to the fire.
