Mojtaba Emerges Successor To His Father, Ali Khamenei As Iran's Supreme Leader

Mojtaba Khamenei has emerged successor to his late father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the Supreme Leader of Iran. Ali Khamenei was assassinated in the U.S./Israel strikes on Iran.

The Iranian military and political leaders have pledged loyalty to Mojtaba Khamenei as he ‌replaces his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, as the supreme ⁠leader.

Mojtaba now has the final say in all matters of the state in the Iranian Islamic Republic.

There was solidarity rally in Iran endorsing the emergence of Mojtaba as President Donald Trump of the U.S. rejected him as Iran's new Supreme Leader.

Mojtaba is a renown Islamic cleric, and had wide business networks while his father was alive. He was influential before the voting for his father's successor.
