Makinde assures residents of food security
Governor Seyi Makide who gave the assurance while addressing leaders and members of the Oyo State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners added that his administration will continue to accord priority to the welfare of pensioners in the state.
Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Makinde, who was represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Olawale Mogbonjubola solicited the support of Pensioners for his administration stressing that welfare of the people will be given due attention.
In their separate remarks, the National President of the Union, Abel Afolayan, the chairman of the union in Oyo State, Isaka Abolade and the Secretary of the Union in the state, Olusegun Abatan lauded the commitment of Makinde to the welfare of workers and pensioners in the State.
