Kwara community laments bad road
Residents of Budo Egba and Otte communities in Asa local government area of Kwara state are worried they may soon be cut off from other parts of the state.
This is as a result of their main road that is now almost cut into two.
People of Budo Egba and Otte communities in Asa local government area of Kwara state share boundary with Oyo state are predominantly farmer and trader.
The road that passes through these communities is the old Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway constructed in the 70s.
It served as the major link road between the north and the southwest but the present condition of the road is calling for the attention of both state and federal government.
Residents fear that they may soon be cut off from Ilorin, the state capital if nothing is done urgently.
The state's federal controller of works Wasiu Atitebi says blockage of drainage affect the free flow of water is the major reason why the road is faulty, promise the community of immediate attention
