The Taraba State Government says it is intensifying security measures through sustained collaboration with the Police and other security agencies to address emerging threats, including cross-border and inter-state security concerns.

The Governor during a courtesy visit to the Inspector General of Police assured residents that security assessments in identified flashpoints, including areas placed under special security watch, are yielding progress, with operations ongoing to prevent escalation

In his remarks, the IGP Kayode Egbetokun says the Police is reviewing the Security in the general Area and more Intelligence assets will be deployed to the Area to halt further Attacks.
