The governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje at a military show of force parade in Kano state, called on the federal government and other relevant authorities to increase the training of the Nigerian Army personnel in order for them to be up-to-date with modern day warfare in combating the present security challenges in the country. 

He said although the major priority of the current Federal government is to solve the security upheaval in the nation, training and retraining of the Armed Forces would bring calm to the country.
