The Federal road safety corps in Ekiti state has urged motorcyclists and other road users in the state to ensure the registration and re registration of their vehicles before the first of August, 2019.

The agency said it will commence the enforcement of plate number violation at the expiration of the grace period.

This was disclosed by the Ekiti state sector commander, Faustina Alegbe while answering questions from newsmen at the end of the 2019 second quarter meeting in Ado Ekiti.

She challenged road users in Ekiti state to obey traffic rules and regulations in order to reduce road crashes in the state.

Representatives of the National union of road transport users and other stakeholders in the state promised to educate road users on the importance of the policy.
