FG advised to pay more attention to science courses
The national universities commission and other regulatory agencies have been advised to pay more priority to science oriented courses during admission process
The chairman of the manufacturer Association of Nigerian kwara /kogi chapter kamarudeen Yussuf stated this Ilorin while addressing journalist during symposium of the American chemical society, Nigerian chapter held in university of Ilorin
Kamaldeen Yusuf stated that there is urgent need for federal government through national university commission to dwell more on given admission to science oriented courses than others which should be ratio 70/30
He stressed that, with studied of chemistry and other science courses, Nigerian need no expertise from abroad and this will surely quench the effect of economic recession
While also aligning with the industrialist, the chairman Nigerian chapter of American chemistry society urges all industrialists to use their knowledge to safe Nigeria from the ugly situation.
He further pointed out that knowledge of chemistry will be put into practical use in order to save the country from the recession
