Federal lawmaker urges PDP to return Okowa
The lawmaker representing Uvwie, Okpe, and Sapele constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Oboro has called on members of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state, to ensure that they do everything possible in returning the state governor Ifeanyi Okowa come 2019.
She made the disclosure at the PDP secretariat in Uvwie local government area of the state during an emergency meeting as a result of the postponement of the APC congress in the state.
Speaking at the gathering, the lawmaker urged members in different wards and units to rally support for Okowa in sustaining his leadership of the state.
Also speaking, a leader of the party advises party members to collect their Permanent Voters Card(PVC), in other to effect positive change.
The meeting according to the lawmaker was held in the twenty-five local government areas of the state to show the unity of the party at the grassroots level.
