The Edo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress have accused the Edo state governor and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the just concluded Edo Governorship election Asue Ighodalo, for allegedly preventing its members from the joint inspection of election materials at the Edo INEC headquarters.

The party made this known during a press briefing in Benin city the Edo State capital. Addressing journalists, the acting chairman of the party Mr. Jarrett Tenebe attributes the challenges faced in the joint inspection to what he described as the desperation of the PDP governorship candidate Asue Ighodalo.

They call for the arrest of those responsible for the attack on APC members at the INEC headquarters in Benin city and the provision of security.
