Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa State has extolled himself on performance, he has performed optimally despite facing significant natural disasters at the early stages of his administration.

The Governor made this known during the 2026 Eyal Obeyin Annual Festival in Ayakoro Community, Ogbia Local Government Area.

Addressing the people as a display of the rich culture was on parade, the governor said challenges like the COVID-19 pandemic and severe flooding provided an opportunity for him to engage stakeholders in all 105 wards across the state.
