Benue ACReSAL Seeks Synergy With FRSC, ICPC For Project Implementation.

Benue Agro - Climatic Resilience in Semi - Arid Landscapes, (ACReSAL), says partnering the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences commission (ICPC), would help the agency achieve its project goals.

 

The State Project Coordinator of ACReSAL, Bldr. Victor Ama stated this when he met with the State Sector commander of Road Safety and ICPC resident Commissioner in Makurdi where he stated that the visit is aimed at strengthening ties with the relevant institutions in the State for better service delivery and to achieve success for the ACReSAL project intervention.

 

While he emphasized the importance of collaboration and partnership in achieving the project goals and making positive impact on communities , Bldr. Ama explained that ACReSAL was a World Bank-assisted project aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change that involves various initiatives at the community level, such as farming support, livelihood enhancement, and infrastructure development using solar energy.

 

He appreciated the FRSC for training the project’s drivers to enhance their driving skills, noting that collaboration with government institutions like the ICPC was crucial for effective project implementation and combating corruption.

 

Meanwhile the Sector Commander of FRSC, Corps Commander, Steve Ayodele, and the ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner, Mr. Menge Tiku in the separat visit, expressed their willingness to work with the ACReSAL office in Benue State for more efficient and transparent processes in government operations.
