8-year old ritual killer escapes detention
The Rivers state police command has disclosed the escape of one 23-year old Ifeanyi Chukwu Maxwell Dike who was apprehended for allegedly killing an 8-year old boy identified as Chikamso Victory.
Until his arrest, Dike was a resident of Messiah street, in the Eliozu area of Port Harcourt, the state’s capital.
The deceased, Chikamso Victory was also killed on the same street where the suspect allegedly resided, before absconding totally from the area.
It was disclosed to Galaxy News that the suspect escaped on Saturday in Port Harcourt.
The state commissioner of police, Zaki Ahmed said it was negligence from one of the police officer in Rivers state that lead to the escape of the suspect who was said to have been arrested and detained.
Meanwhile, CP Zaki Ahmed appealed to the public to bring to the notice of the nearest police command where and whenever the criminal is found.
Recall, Ifeanyi Chukwu Maxwell Dike 23yrs of Messiah Street Eliozu Port Harcourt was given a hot chase and arrested before he was claimed to have escaped from the custody of the Rivers state police command.
