The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has released 279 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, results that were previously withheld for further investigation.

JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, said the release followed ongoing investigations into suspected examination malpractice, with some results cleared after no prima facie evidence was established against the affected candidates.

The Board said some results have, however, been cancelled where evidence of malpractice was confirmed, while results from centres flagged by its live monitoring team for suspicious activities remain under investigation.

The Examination body added that candidates whose results are yet to be released should check their status by sending UTMERESULT to 55019 or 66019, using the same phone number used for registration.
