The Directorate of State of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has suspended two key positions indefinitely. They include Office of IPOB Leader, and the Director of Radio Biafra. The two offices were held by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before his incarceration.

The Head of the Directorate of State, Chikadibia Edoziem, in a statement asserted that the suspension takes immediate effect. Apparently, IPOB no longer has a leader.

The statement indicated that the suspension is to safeguard the movement’s overall operations and mission.
