The Commissioner for Information in Edo State, Kassim Afegbua, has refuted reports insinuating hunger and starvation of citizens of the state, by certain online medium.

The Commissioner, at media briefing in Benin City, dismissed the report as false.

The Edo State Information Commissioner, Kassim, had condemned the online media; which blamed the administration of Governor Monday Okpebholo for non-performance, leading to hunger in the state.

The Commissioner maintained the governor is arresting the failure of the past administration.

The Information Commissioner called for collaboration from all stakeholders On the security situation in the state.
