The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has resumed Continuous Voters' Registration, CVR, in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.

The Commission clarified that the resumption of the nationwide Continuous Voter Registration exercise is the third and last phase. The exercise commenced on Monday, May 11, 2026, and is scheduled to end on July 10, 2026.

INEC Chairman of Information and Voter Education Committee, Mohammed Haruna, in a statement indicated that the resumption of the final phase of CVR will provide another opportunity for eligible Nigerians to participate in the voter registration process.

He counseled voters seeking changes to their voter details to make use of available channels.
