Ogun Inaugurates FRILIA, Moves to Address Investors Plight
Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun has assured that his administration would continue to make the state friendly for both local and foreign investors.
Abiodun represented by his Commissioner for Finance, Dapo Okubadejo gave the assurance during the Inauguration of Framework for Responsible and Inclusive land Intensive Agricultural Investments, FRILIA workgroup under the state Economic Transformation Project, OGSTEP in Abeokuta, the State capital.
Abiodun who described the composition of the workgroup as a milestone said the government would continue to be proactive in attracting investors to the state by addressing all challenges confronting them, especially land administration issues.
He revealed that the OGSTEP align with the vision and the agenda of the present administration, saying that the 30-man workgroup would provide technical support for the OGSTEP.
On his part, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Samson Odedina, said that the government is poised to improve the state's business environment for investors, stressing that the government discovered that there are many land issues, which included lack of social acceptance by the host Community hence the need to address the challenges.
