Nigerian veteran actor Olumide Bakare is dead.

The actor died in the early hours of today, April 22, 2017 after battling with a heart and lung linked ailment.

Prior to this, the Nollywood movie star had come out in 2016 to ask Nigerians for help to treat his ailment, as he spends about N30,000 daily.

According to reports, Bakare while on his sick bed at UCH, Ibadan revealed that he could no longer hold on any longer.

He told media person, Jide Moronfolu who visited him while on his sick bed at UCH Ibadan in 2014

He said: “Jide Omo Moronfolu, agbara mi o ka mo o." This simply means, Jide, I can’t hold on much longer.

Eversince, he has been battling with the aliment but early today, Olumide Bakare succumbs to the cold hands of death.
