Rivers United missed the chance to climb out of the relegation zone after conceding a late goal to settle for a 1-1 draw against Katsina United in a Nigeria Professional Football League match day 33 game in Port Harcourt on Monday.

 The draw means Rivers United have now gone four straight games without a win.Malian striker Abdoulaye Kanoute gave Rivers United the lead in the 44th minute.

But in the 93rd minute, Martins Usule equalized to force the draw. Rivers United remains 18th on 42 points in the NPFL table while Katsina United moved up one spot from 17th to 16th on 43 points.
