We won't destroy uncollected PVC- INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that it has no intention to destroy Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) yet to be collected by their owners.


The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Oyo State, Barrister Mutiu Agboke who made the clarification while speaking with Galaxy TV in Ibadan said the commission has designed various means to get the cards across to those that have registered

On the continuous voters registration, Barrister Agboke added that those that have been registered would be given opportunity to cross check their particulars with an attempt to prevent registration of non Nigerians.

He said the commission has been able to distribute 14, 101 permanent voter cards in the state while 226,882 eligible voters have been registered in Oyo state since the commencement of the exercise.
