Okorocha introduces ministry of happiness
The Imo state government has introduced an additional new ministry to the existing ones, the Ministry of happiness and purpose fulfillment.
According to the Imo state governor, Rochas Okorocha, the ministry is to make sure all Imo people are happy and to help them fulfill their purpose.
The governor started this during the swear-in ceremony of 28 commissioners and caretaker committees on Monday, December 4.
Governor Okorocha while addressing the new appointees, charged them to make sure they prove themselves worthy and shun every form of corruptions.He also charged them to ensure that all ongoing projects in the state are completed; adding that his administration will make sure that all Imolites are happy which necessitated the introduction of the ministry in the state.
He furthered that the happiness of citizens in the state is unnegotiable.Some of the commissioners who spoke to newsmen shortly after the swear-in assured that they are going to contribute their quotas in their various ministries to ensure service delivery to the people of Imo state.
The governor, therefore, noted that the transition committee chairmen of the council will only last for five months after which they will conduct local government election.
