Former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami SAN, electrified Katsina State on his homecoming after his travail in Abuja.

Malami noted that the reception by Leaders and Members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State, Executives and Members of the Kebbi Gaskiya Alliance and other support groups, Political Associates, various Committee leaders and members, elders, Youth Leaders, Women groups, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, and all well-wishers,
was overwhelming, and left indelible mark on him.

Malami reaffirmed his deep commitment to the service of the people. according to the former Minister, "You did not just welcome a son of the soil — you welcomed a shared vision for a better, more prosperous Kebbi".

Malami declared inter alia: "This homecoming was not about one individual — it was about the collective will of Kebbi people who yearn for good governance, unity, and progress.

"As I have always said, our mission to rescue and reposition Kebbi is non-negotiable.

"With your continued support, we shall move forward together with the spirit of “No Retreat, No Surrender” and “Babu Gudu Babu Ja da Baya kuma Babu Karaya”.

"I pledge to continue listening to your voices, addressing your concerns, and working tirelessly for the development of our state. Kebbi’s best days are ahead of us, Insha Allah."
