The Minster of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyano SAN, receiving honourary award of "Minister of the Year" from Silverbird Television, in Lagos, apologized to Nigerians over recent gridlock art the toll gates of various airports across the country.

Keyamo was presented with the Award of the Minister of the Year by SILVERBIRD COMMUNICATIONS LTD, amongst other awardees, in Lagos at the weekend.

The Minster also appealed for cooperation from Nigerians as the federal government begins the implementation of the cashless policy to eliminate corruption and optimise revenues.

Keyamo highlighted: "Yesterday, at the Eko Hotels in Lagos, I was presented with the Award of the Minister of the Year by SILVERBIRD COMMUNICATIONS LTD, amongst other awardees.

"In my acceptance speech, I used the opportunity to apologise to Nigerians over the recent gridlock experienced at the toll gates of various airports across the country, even as I appealed for cooperation from Nigerians as we begin to implement the cashless policy to eliminate corruption and optimise revenues."
