Senators Shehu Sani and Suleiman Hunkuyi have urged the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari to stop Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai from going ahead to collect 350million US Dollar loan from the World Bank.

This call by the two Federal Lawmakers representing Kaduna State comes on the heels of the decision of the Nigerian Senate to reject the loan request by El-Rufai as part of the State Development Policy Operation.

Sani and Hunkuyi made the call while addressing journalists in the Nigerian capital, Abuja.

Recall that the Senate on Thursday affirmed the recommendation of its Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, calling for the rejection of the World Bank Loan request which is as contained in the 2016-2018 External Borrowing Plan of President Muhammadu Buhari.
