The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has faulted the court order empowering the factional Speaker of the House of Assembly, Edison Ehie, to preside over activities of the legislative arm of government.

Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the Party in Rivers State says it will not watch a Judge allegedly violate the principles of Law and disobey the National Judicial Council .

Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC in Rivers State, Tony Okocha while reacting to the experte Motion restraining Martins Ameawhule and Dumle Maol from being Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Rivers House of Assembly says the move is an abuse of court process.


okocha alleged that the idea is to allow the Governor Fubara present the 2024 budget to the Assembly while also saying that only four members of the Assembly can not Seat over the assembly 

He says the APC will write a Petition to the National Judicial Council if Justice M. W Danagogo does not reverse the experte Motion


Okocha said the all progressives congress in the state shall not tolerate intimidation of their members from the ruling party in the state.
