The All Progressives Congress in rivers state led by Tony Okocha has condemned the explosion at its party secretariat along Aba road in Port Harcourt, the state capital, saying that the party is under attack in the state. The caretaker chairman disclosed this at the party secretariat while addressing newsmen.

The explosion was attributed to a suspected dynamite occurred during the early hours of Saturday's local government election damaging one of the gate and other facilities at the premises.

Okocha questioned the attack saying despite the party not participating in the election, nor the election held at the secretariat.

He called on the federal government for assistance in the protection of APC members and its facilities in the state.
