Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has promised to entrench a more improved and innovation driven civil and public service that could meet up with global best practices.

The Governor gave this assurance at the executive council Chamber in Ibadan when he received the report from the committee setup to review the public,civil service rules and regulations expected to berth a modern workforce.

He stress that the rules have become obsolete and not capable of driving the needed change that could positively impact on the citizenry and that is why the state government had constituted the panel whose report is ready for consideration.

The review committee is chaired by a former Secretary to the State government and former head of Service Adebisi Adeola who presented four documents for consideration to the Governor.
