Ogun Govt Signs MOU with British Power Firm
The Ogun state government has signed a memorandum of understanding with a United Kingdom energy provider to generate 250mw of electricity for domestic and industrial development of the state
Giving his address during the signing of the memorandum of understanding and the working visit to the governor by the United Kingdom deputy high commissioner, Ben Lenellyn- Jones, the governor said this is imperative in order to unleash the industrial potentials of the state
He also promised genuine investors in the state of favourable business environment, policies, and security to ensure good returns on investments
Correspondent John Felix reports the secretary to the state government, Tokunbo Talabi signed on behalf of the state government while the Joel Abrams signed on behalf of the power firm from the United Kingdom.
Speaking to journalists immediately after the meeting, the deputy British high commissioner and the director of the energy company commended the commitment of the state government as the 250mw of electricity berth in the state.
