Family planning is sacrosanct to the well-being of women and girls of reproductive age group in preventing maternal and child mortality rate in the society.

This assertion was made known by the wife of Ogun state governor, Bamidele Abiodun at the commissioning of the state family planning training center at Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

Abiodun noted that the family planning center will serve as an educational facility with the intended purpose of building capacity of medical doctors, nurses and community health extension workers.

She added that the well-being of women and girls of reproductive age group remains one of the priorities of the current administration in ogun state.
