Officers charged to be committed
The Chief of Defense Staff Gen. Abayomi Olonishakin has charged officers and men of the Nigerian Navy to be committed and dedicated to the Nation through character and efficiency.
The CDS made the disclosure at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School in Port-Harcourt the Rivers state capital during the passing out parade of batch 28 cadet officers.
Addressing graduating officers, Gen. Olonishakin charged them to display exemplary character in the discharge of their duty.
He stressed on infrastructural development in the Nigerian Navy as some of the officers promised loyalty to the Nation.
One thousand one hundred and seventy-six graduating officers took part in the training which includes 997 male and 177 female.
